About The Artwork

Canopic jars were used to protect the lungs, intestines, stomach, and liver of the deceased. These jars had the heads of the sons of Horus carved onto the lids. To preserve the organs, natron was used to dry them out before storing them in the jars. These jars are the largest ones on the internet, you will not find them anywhere else, they are made from Basalt stone, 100% hand carved and made in Egypt by an Egyptian soul. You could use it in spiritual habits.
