Yeins Gomez Sousa is a Cuban sculptor. He was born in Cárdenas, Matanzas in 1987. His relative youth belies his experience and knowledge. Gomez was a Professor of Sculpture at the Professional Art School in Matanzas. Graduated of Restoration and Conservation at the Higher Institute of Art in Havana. He has won numerous awards for his sculptures and has exhibited collectively throughout his native country. A member of the International Association of Monumental Sculpture (AIESM). Yeins also works in metal and other mediums. He has exhibited solo shows of his work across Cuba. He has also exhibited his works in France, Spain, Italy , Canada and United States. Gomez presently lives in Miami, Florida where he continues his work as a sculptor.
