As a result of the dedicated efforts of the entire family to carry forward the art from the paternal lineage, it can be mentioned that Rajapaksa Arts and Crafts was started a business as an art business which was started professionally some time ago. As it is directly linked to the tourism industry, it also has a direct impact on the tourism industry. These arts, which end from the very beginning, are an additional occupation due to the impact of the declining income of those engaged in the industry in Sri Lanka as an industry. Some do, while others abandon the art and move on to other occupations to make a living, and with the advancement of our skills and the arts, we continue to pass on the art to the next generation without letting it go unnoticed for generations to come. Our aim is to try hard to move forward. Our objective is to make our creations with the changes that we think need to be made to maintain the tradition. Our aim is not to imitate a work that exists in a certain place, but to make chronological changes that do not harm the traditional system, and to continue to perpetuate the Rajapaksa name in Sri Lankan art, saving a generation of creations that blend our genre into it and pass it on to the next generation.
