About The Artwork

The Philippines have many cultures some of them were influenced by foreign cultures like that of Japan. Bonsai is one of them. The artpiece is made from paper mache clay slab which serves as the canvas, then sculpted a reief. Painting the whole sculpture and background completes it. All the processes were made by hand such that the edges are a little rough and may be unsymmetrical. The back and sides are protected by a coat of lacquer and the front coated with clear varnish. The artwork comes with a lacquered paper mache box.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I am a self-taught artist currently specializing in figurative sculpture. My medium in sculpting figures is paper mache. Unlike other sculptures that use paper mache which are hollow mine is solid. My sculptures are somewhat stronger but heavier. It would take months to finish a single piece due to long drying time.
