ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This white sculpture has splotches of red on the surface which looks powdery and vains of red paint on the sides. The Moonstones were made by pouring plaster into different sized molds. I imagined the surface of the moon, the colors there and how the wind is blowing strongly. The plaster had to dry for several weeks and is white and smooth. In the back of each Moonstone is a small hole so the works may be hanged on a nail without a visible construction. Combine your favorite Moonstones in constellations! The works are finished with a transparent varnish that is UV-proof.
