Despite that fact that I was posting here mainly painting my profession is ceramics. Of course I draw, paint, make collages and so on, but I don't forget about clay (especially chamotte). I love old frescos, when you can see one layer of paint under another. I love textures and cracks. I like when items have some marks similar to marks of time, I like when they look like they've just were found in the earth by archaeologists or by some strangers on a shore. I created a tiny sculpture showing a mother and a child 10 years ago, kept thinking of it during the years and finally repeat it in the bigger size. I Made a mould for creating several objects. Their shape is the same, but colors and surfaces are different. Here you can see one of them. I used engobe, glaze and some copper scale to decorate it.

From my early years I knew that I should be an artist. When I was a teenager I fell in love with painting. I felt the freedom of it and it could convey my emotions better than something else. And I have retained that love to this day. I graduated Stieglitz St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Industry in 2010. I paint, work with clay and porcelain. Very simple things can inspire me to work. I get my ideas in nature, architecture and myths. I believe that art is the evidence of something genuine and an artist should be honest and work hard to find his own way to show it.
