Adam Brazil is a multidisciplinary artist, scholar and educator. His work deploys strategies from Pop Art to critique global capitalism. He holds a BFA in Sculpture Cum Laude from the Ohio State University, an MFA in Visual Art from the State University of New York at Purchase College, a graduate certificate in Urban Humanities and a Ph.D. in Architecture from the University of California-Los Angeles. He recently presented a solo exhibition at Proto-Gomez gallery in New York City, and has shown in group shows throughout New York and Los Angeles, including Modest Common gallery and the Contemporary Irish Art Center. He has received fellowships from Pilchuck Glass School, Vermont Studio Center, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts and Creative Capital.
