Communication and interaction of the components of the human body that create life. The spiral is in all things. In thissculpture I wanted to show the power of nature, like the on the trees. I signified this force with tin (33%), an energy ascending through the spongy channel in the heart of the tree. From a seed it becomes a tree in a fractal elan from its roots to its branches.

The foundations and motivations of his art stem from a classically based origin, an evolution of many thousand years, which are constantly reshaped in total harmony with it’s ambient surroundings. With his shapes, half way between a basic, original and primitive spirituality and of a vision devoid of all stylistic prejudice, the guiding line of his curves is endless, like ripples in the stream that encircle each hollow, in the same way he explores the emptiness and hollowness of ideological thoughts and harsh deeds affecting man in his verticality. The origin of art and it’s need to portray itself since time immemorial does not only draw it’s inspiration from the beauty of aesthetic shapes, but from the need for one to establish a more intimate relationship with the divine, the powerful force which penetrates our very being with short flashes that overwhelm us, leaving us with a greater understanding of everything. He endeavors to create the slender link and bond for a greater vision of the UNITY. The understanding of the Universe is the best way to subdue the philosophical question of our very existence. "The realization of my thoughts into practical concrete shapes creates the deeply-needed vacuum in my mind to accommodate numerous other new ideas. With the ripples emanating from my shapes and forms, I hollow out the stone and at the same time I brush away all the burden on my immature mind to return to the basic truth, this main thread in direct liaison with its origins of the shape of the stone, this immense beauty which radiates the heart and mind and gives an added creative meaning to my art. With the help of my engraving chisels, I square off the shapeless contours of my own being, hoping to find the brilliance of the diamond that is encrusted in my heart, like plunging ones’ hand into the heart of the comet to obtain the knowledge of it’s historical meaning, bringing with it each day a new discovery". To return to the source of the primitives signs and it’s all important usefulness is like drinking water which trickles in fine droplets onto the granite, this rebirth gives a new life to the permanence of each moment which in turn stamps its own transparence on our contemplative thoughts.
