The Dreamer
This is a set of twelve ceramic reliefs mounted on wood. The pieces are meant to hang together, as shown in the photograph. The subject matter derives from Maltese prehistoric imagery and archaeological finds. Each relief represents a human activity that was practiced in Neolithic times, but is still popular today, more than five thousand years later. The individual panels represent (from top left to bottom right): The Astronomer, The Priestess, The Farmer, The Painter, The Dreamer, The Judge, The Potter, The Ornithologist, The Navigator, The Fisherman, The Builder and The Jeweller.
