ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work was inspired by the degeneration of living creatures caused by the abuse to our great oceans. The sculpture was designed to represent the inner structure of a shell forming a single tear in the center. The sculpture is built from steel sheet, cut, shaped and welded. An acid wash was applied to create the final patina and a clear coat finish applied.
