Shady Albert is an architect, artist and designer, founder of S+ studio, design-research oriented studio. He has diverse experience working at several international and multi-disciplinary consultancies. He worked on architectural design and environmental analysis projects in Egypt, Beirut, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Morocco and Azerbaijan. Prior to that he ran Alberto Architects, his own architectural firm. Shady’s academic background starts at studying architecture at the Faculty of Fine Arts – Architecture Department, in Cairo. He has attained a further degree in Environmental design and Engineering at the Bartlett UCL focusing on integrating social, spatial and environmental aspects. He has joined the American University in Cairo teaching in the sustainability, parametric design and digital fabrication modules.
