About The Artwork

A single cell begins as a flat plane which can fold and transform into an infinite variety of three dimensional shapes. As an artist who creates both 2D and 3D artworks I find the life of a cell fascinating and wanted to created a work that sought to create as many three dimensional folds as I could from hand cut hexagonal rounds.
