About The Artwork
This bronze sculpture was inspired by a Chinese poem called " PEACHES" from SIV CEDERING , story of a woman participating in a drawing contest of the best peach. So she takes a big sheet of rice paper, puts pollen powder on her buttocks and sits on the paper. Of course, she wins the contest. It was also inspired by a famous photograph of MAN RAY " la prière" from 1930.
