Obsession, passion, understanding to materials and learning more about materials give me the ability to grow as a person and as an artist. I may be obsess with Stained Glass, but is the passion I discover in me, the missing particle. Those days I am combining stained glass with many different materials, the first and the most important was ceramics, because that where my inspiration to do stained glass come from. I am from Czech Republic living in London since 2004.I am originally panelbeater that is my education back in time. Fortunately that gives me high understanding of materials, and high imagination with improvisation. I would say that I was a sculptor back there, from crashed car barely know what make was it, to build it back that no one can say it was a crashed. I believe I am a self-taught artist I have BTEC in ceramics is that make me artist? I am increasing my knowledge of materials which I believe that is self-taught and like with my last love Stained Glass I discover this medium ruder amusing. I am pushing the possibility of the usage of stained glass to the different elements and combination with different materials, where I am not looking for necessarily light behind and to bee see through. But the texture the different options of the glass, the variety of colours, reflection changing the colours from different angles. The techniques of the classical making of stained glass give me enormous possibility to explore and express myself in many ways. Over here you can see that I am talking about Stained Glass technique because there is a big different between Tiffany technique and the Stained Glass. I am proud of myself that I am able to curve the stained glass which is very tricky and make me to improvise trough out the process a specially when I am using irregular shapes. Compare to the traditional Tiffany style where you see mostly regular shapes, which are mathematically logical. Other materials are always a process of learning and when I have a new idea which involved new material I have to learn about it so I can use it in the best abilities of the material. In painting I am influenced by Jean Michel Basquiat and Jackson Pollock they damage my brain and as sun I am front of the canvas I am thinking of them, that may be why I am freer with my sculptures because they are mine skills and my imagination.
