ABOUT THE ARTWORK
DETAILS AND DIMENSIONS
SHIPPING AND RETURNS

The work draws inspiration from pre-Columbian art, particularly from archaeological artifacts. I was fascinated by the idea of immortality that these convey, as icons of a world that no longer exists but continues to be represented.

I’m a sculptor and ceramic artist, and my work is all about exploring form, material, and the human psyche. With a background in psychology and twenty years as a web designer, I’ve developed a creative approach that mixes deep introspection with the physical, hands-on nature of sculpture. I draw inspiration from artists like Arturo Martini, Lucio Fontana, and Alberto Giacometti, as well as surrealist painters, whose fascination with dreams and the unconscious has always intrigued me. I love working with ceramics, bronze, and experimental materials, shaping pieces that hover between the figurative and the abstract, playing with contrasts—presence and absence, light and shadow, space and void. For me, sculpture is a way to bring the oniric into tangible form. I aim to create works that feel like they’ve surfaced from an inner world, inviting the viewer to pause, reflect, and connect with something beyond the tangible.
