ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In most of my work, the ceramic base is the soft and organic element that is juxtaposed with the clean, sharp lines of an electrified tube. In this piece, I wanted the two elements to come from the same point of view, with the sharper and more structural ceramic base meeting the lines and curves of the tube in a different kind of harmony. Also, the grey of the granite clay together with the flamingo pink tube is perfection.
