Pipe Dream Sculpture

The idea behind this work was to show something chaotic with many elements looking like they are going fast in multiple directions. The colors painted and the style its done in is something like a morning dew that calms the chaos. I have a similar sculpture in my office that I made and I always look at it in the morning, especially Monday mornings and it always calms me down while getting into the day. I hope whom ever brings this into there home enjoys it and it soothes there nerves and creates a sense of calmness like it has done for me. This is a good size wall sculpture that protrudes out just enough to make an impact and show great depth in the work. The material used is PVC that has been sanded, treated, then painted in the style seen in the picture. The most challenging thing about this was getting the structure correct and balance, you don't know how many time I had to change alignment, directions of what was face where and take things apart and put them back together.
