ABOUT THE ARTWORK
while on a trip to Yellowstone I saw a lone Bison rubbing its head on a tree. to my surprise, it pushed the tree over. The sheer size and power of these magnificent animals has impressed me ever since. And yet they are so athletic and beautiful when they move. I wanted to capture the strength and gracefulness of this amazing animal in a kind of snapshot as he lifts his front leg and test wind.
