Made from recycled plastics, this sculpture represents a falcon. These birds are domesticated yet wild, and present a strength and focus that is inspiring. The work is illuminated with custom colored LED lights. It is a suspended piece, relatively light-weight since it is made from recycled 5 gallon water containers, detergent bottles and kitty litter container parts over a PVC substructure that supports the piece on the inside. It can easily hang from the provided wires that suspend the piece. The piece weighs 3-4 lbs. The recycled materials are used to emphasize an environmental message about our dependence on petrochemicals and electricity.
