Every time we see the sky the quarter moon, its brightness, its movements and shapes, are a resplendent memory that inspired my bronze sculpture, which is resplendent with each quarter of the moon.Astronomers recognize many primary moon phases (new, first quarter, full, last quarter) and more interstitial phases.
