ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This sculpture was inspired by time I have spent in the doñana national park observing and photographing wildlife. It is part of an exhibition I have been preparing based on the animals found in the park which is not far from where I live during most of the year, in the south of Spain. The sculpture shows a young red deer fawn, lifesize resting in the grass.

I am a British artist living in the south of Spain. I live near the Doñana national park where I am able to photograph and observe wildlife, this has been the inspiration for many of my sculptures. Others have been private commisions. I love travelling which provides me with inspiration for future projects. I am particularly interested in South American countries because I have some South American heritage.
