Hi! We are Olga and Christina, artists of The PlumShop, and we make some classy handmade ceramic stuff. We only work the way we want, blending various techniques and clay types with inspiration and fantasy. We never make the same item twice and are crazy about exclusivity of each of them. You can see our work in that instagram. One of us creates shape and texture, the other does paintings. Sometimes we apply images during the work on shape, sometimes idea comes after first firing. We started this business when one of us got gravely ill and was terrified to leave her child an orphan. So anyone who supports us can be sure he's involved in saving a life. Yet this was never the main idea of our art. We just believe we make this world better with every plate or cup, for each of them is a result of sincere creation. For in any art honesty is of crucial importance. Follow the only beacons — idea and inspiration, and betray them not. And it doesn't matter if for that one must spend months eating raw meat with Maasai, or study local traditions in Morocco for years — if case requires that (and case is always in artist's heart), everything must be done to go after the heart.
