Reflections of well being Sculpture

“on passing to the Underworld , man only leaves tokens of his existence” This piece is part of my 'Mechanic Space' range of work inspired by my love of Science Fiction, Fantasy, gothic art and Victorian Industrial Art. The piece was coiled from white stoneware clay, smoothed and then when the clay is leather hard the design is carved. Once air dried it was bisque fired, followed by a final Raku firing with a heavy reduction that gives the black patener finish.
