Reflexions Of The Sky Sculpture

I have been been working with clay and porcelain for over 22 years in the academies of Ghent, Eeklo and Tielt. Finished masterclasses with Anne Marie Laureys, Ruthanne Tudball and Annouk Theys. In my work I try to defy the standard use of a ceramics turntable by interweaving different materials and triggering their individual deficiencies results in a very personal approach of ceramics. The simplicity and sophistication of lines, shapes and colours of the nature are my main inspiration. I use the combination of ceramics, porcelain, glass and minerals as a medium to evoke elements of natural world and to convey abstract feelings to the viewer, replicating the tension and serenity which are quietly present in our surrounding of objects and the formless of the being.
