I've always strived to capture the moment in rendering the human figure. The place where time stops. This piece was inspired by the masculine anatomy in movement and balance with character.
Here one is captured by the flow of a gracefull yet powerfull stiride. The rush of wind, the weight of the figure leaning into the next stride and the rythem of breath. all in balance with the industry we interact with.
This direct metal tecknique of welding recycled scrap together to assimilate muscle and bone has been my forte for over 22 years. I am always getting better and in more controll of the ellements used. the runner subject is starting a serries in this size of figures doing various movements and activities.
