I first saw the wrinkled copper from a hotel fire with a copper roof. It had a marvelous texture, and I bought a few hundred pounds, and incorporated it into my sculpture. That material has long been depleted, and I have been hand texturing, though heat and hammering, my own unique style, and combine it with other materials. Each hammered copper sculpture or part of a sculpture is unique, hand made and formed by me. No two parts or pieces in a sculpture are alike.
