Salvador Dali and Gala travel atop a rhinoceros to visit Freud Sculpture - Limited Edition of 3

For the third Christmas in a row, Gala and Salvador Dali were about to visit Sigmund Freud. But every year, there was always one thing that didn't go as planned. One time they forgot the present. The second time there was a note on the door explaining that Freud had left for Africa to study the sexual lives of giraffes. On the third, Gala had simply said that she was just not yet ready to meet the master. However, this time the hour of the visit had finally come. Gala climbed onto the rhinoceros and posed, like in the picture, "Galarina". Dali stood up behind her, straightened the back of his collar, and they both set out on their journey.
