ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece, Seeds, is part of a series that illustrates a quote from Black Elk, All Things are our Relatives. That philosophy promotes inclusiveness and respect. The background is a photo of fall leaves in New England that was manipulated. The shape of the neon is embryonic as is the nature of a seed. This sculpture is wall hung and is plugged in to a wall socket in the same way a table lamp is.
