A hand-made ceramic earthenware bowl, thrown on the wheel.

The painting has been done with colored glazes, also entirely by hand.
A (kind of) self-portrait, inspired by my thoughts, and the things that I see around me.

In a previous life, I was a sailor and very much in love with the sea. The sailor part has long gone, but the love for the sea has always remained. This is mainly where my inspiration comes from. When shaping an object in clay on the potter's wheel, at the same time a canvas to paint on arises. In this way, my work is of double creating pleasure.
