Shark Sculpture

One day, I watched a video of a person carving in wood, I was fascinated by it, because I always liked art, I already drew, painted and sculpted, but I had never tried in wood, so I found a piece of trunk of a tree that had been felled for the construction of a building on the site, this tree is jatobá, with a very beautiful mixed color wood. I was then thinking about what that piece of trunk could become, that's when I saw my daughter playing with a small rubber shark, and I knew at that moment that this would be the chosen one, because in my mind, I knew that, whatever it was, it would be some animal, and who knows, maybe one day it will help in some way, through art, to raise awareness about extinction.
