White refractory clay sculpture. Its proportions are slightly stylized until it assumes a fluid movement like that of a snake. It is particularly dear to me because I believe it is very harmonious in its proportions and in its being.

Fiorella Thomas was born in Rome on August 19, 1955. Always interested in art in all its forms, she followed the courses of the Faculty of Architecture for a few years but finally decided on a decidedly artistic and less technical-functional path. From 1984 he began to follow modeling courses in Italy and abroad, focusing mainly on sculpture as his favorite artistic expression. His material of choice is clay. He starts teaching at some Roman associations since 1985. He has exhibited at several Roman group exhibitions. It has been reviewed in the periodical "Tracciati d'Arte" by the critic Giacomo Belloni who describes his art as light and delicate. Belloni writes: "The figures of Fiorella Thomas are these: lay icons, hyperuranic entities, women and girls taken from the very idea of femininity to be molded in clay as impalpable essences. When we find ourselves in front of a sculpture by Fiorella Thomas we take a break to deliberately distract ourselves from reality and enter a sort of confusional state, of bewilderment; a state in which every certainty is upset. Postures that are always gentle and delicate, impalpable faces, as if veiled by a light powder that softens any wrinkled or forced expression "Tracciati d'Arte n.12 2015
