Clay Bust Sculpture Son of Clovis represents a portrait of a North American Native resident 12000 years ago. Each sculpture is created in Red Sedona clay and cured for gallery and or home display. I was inspired by tales of my Great Grand Parents in Pennsylvania and our family history incorporates many details of indigenous tribes near Butler, Pennsylvania. The original inhabitants lost much of their culture and land which was stolen by English, Irish and Scot immigrants. This image tries to capture the innocence of the people and how their trust and willingness to share the land was used to take advantage and plunder the natural resources of native populations all across North America.

My studio is based in Roswell, Georgia. I work with ceramics, glass and mixed media of all forms. When working in any medium I allow my shadow soul a visual voice to be heard. As humans our algorithms are brutishly selfish and apparent. My zen moments and expressions in art nullify the cultural codes and programming for a pure unconscious freedom.
