The Flecos series is based on the use of jute burlap fabric and the different possibilities it offers in the multiple frays. This action results in falls, fringes, loose threads that transform the structure of the fabric into more compressed parts and others absent. It is a reverse creation process. It is to manually undo thread by thread the manufactured fabric. This monochrome and minimalist work evokes elegance, sophistication and seduction and invites the viewer to generate their own emotion.

Lanna C is an artist from Girona, Catalonia. Since her childhood she has been accompanied by fabrics, threads, sewing machines and sewing utensils. She has lived the stories of her grandmother, of when she worked on the looms of the Barcelona textile factories, and the creativity of her mother as a dressmaker. Starting from the idea of dismantling, that is, of unsewing and unraveling, she builds herself; and she begins a work process where the experimentation of processes, techniques and materials applied to the fabric becomes the protagonist. She is motivated by her intractability and is passionate about transforming matter and achieving different volumes and textures. She works with traditional materials, such as pigments, stucco, gold leaf, but also other innovative ones such as paint with an "ecolabel" label, always prioritizing those that are sustainable. Personal interest and the firm will to adapt artistic practice to a more sustainable model of life, in his subsequent works, lead him to work with reused materials such as leather and quality fabrics that come from surpluses and waste from different design sectors. and fashion. Her series are inspired by landscapes, cities, architecture and history that accompany her. Girona, Cadaqués, Empúries, the Empordà have been very important to her… Memories of youth and life, vacations, emotions, landscape, sea, terraces, stone walls, vegetation. But also City, music, dance, night, people and cultural activities. All these elements contained in his life story are also reflected in the color palette of his creations, ultramarine blue (sea), white (Cadaqués village white houses, light) ocher (dry grass) gold (sun, light reflections) black ( rocks at dusk, night, sophistication) iron oxide and sienna (Girona, ancient pigments). And glitters are also present in her works due to their attraction to the light they reflect. Her work, full of symbolism, folds, contour lines, cracks, stitching and mixtures, evoke these lived territories and invite us to create our own interior landscape. She seeks to influence the viewer's emotions through the different senses. Monochromatic creations with a main color that with its symbology focally transmits that energy. Geometric, architectural or organic shapes, some of them movable that can be varied at will. Different tactile textures. And through the sound-absorbing properties that characterize the fabrics, her creations favor the acoustic comfort of the room.
