This stone sculpture is inspired by the bowtie, butterfly or farfalle Italian pasta shape. It is also inspired by Brancusi, Maxbill Bill and especially Borromini the Italian baroque architect. I love the pull and push of Baroque art and architecture. There is a tension pulling and an expansion happening simultaneously. This keeps our eyes and minds moving? This was made in stone because it is the best. No mistakes allowed.
