This work was done to make a 20m work. It was planned in Berlin and is the fourth Sukhoi PAK FA T-50. I plan to make 46 more works in the future. This was made by thinking about the "Skin" of a fighter aircraft. The skin implies an invisible entity. The fighter does not visible. To have sound only.

I worked for two years in the army in Korea. Then I saw a skin of large snakes in the mountains. At first I was interesting. But soon I was afraid. Because a large snake lives in my around.. Another experience was the case that a North Korean submarine infiltration into the East Sea of the Republic of Korea in 1997. At that time, I was involved in the battle for three months. Although not directly shoot the gun, search and ambushes, and heard the news every day about Battle. Many soldiers died, and spent three months in fear. These two experiences give a great influence on my work. Create a skin of the fighter, like the skin of a snake would say to people. Let's stop the development of weapons of war silently kill each other. Major work for my recent works are fighter jets and war weapon. They are made of papers. And I created them thinking of the skins of things. Like a snake’s skin, the works imply another change and give us another fright. The planes and the weapon take their skins off on the floor of the exhibition hall, hide their substances under our surrounding, and try to transform themselves by using high scientific technology. The developed science and society make us smart and see the world through a small monitor, but also neglect the world without it. I hope my works give a chance to see the real. Human beings are dreaming the same dream and looking at each other’s form. This time, I try to put more focus on the social / interpersonal communication. My intention is to connect people to each other through the paper or vinyl Through joining the papers(or vinyl) together and making a shape of a fighter jets, I try to say “we are with each other” The world must stop weapons development to kill each other. Enough. The world is the energy used in weapons development, It should be used to the earth and natural, person. https://youtu.be/l2029i-nil4
