ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Summer is inspired by a stately Oak in a nearby park. This old tree has several dead branches but continues to flourish. The deep green Enamel copper wire reflects the wonderful depth of the Oaks green canopy in late summer. Sculpted in high tensile Bezinal Steel wire with Enamel coated copper canopy this tree is mounted onto a very twisted chunk of Mopani wood and given a light coat of resin to add highlights to the wooden base. Highly detailed roots add to the beauty of this piece.
