Named after two of the many moons of Saturn, this piece makes the old new again and leans into retro-futurism. Crafted from upcycled fabric that has been hand-dyed and sewn and mounted atop uniquely shaped wood pieces to create a sculptural piece that plays with balance and visual contrast.

Jillian Tackaberry is a Chicago based artist and designer. Her project ,Eomykota, focuses on creating artwork from upcycled fabric that she dyes, paints and sews together to create colorful, reflective compositions. The geometric elements in her work are defined by precision, while the ink drips and abstract bush strokes are loose and gestural. Together they work to create depth and evoke a sense of balanced dualism.
