ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"The Animism no.1 " Is part of a series of works that reflects the relationship I have as an artist with the elemental nature of materials and the collaborative process between material and artist that culminates into an object. In this series I am exploring visual relationships between the monolithic and the light. I am also creating forced relationship with old and new processes through the use of forging by hand the heavy steel and machining by automation the lighter aluminum spine or heatsink shape.
