The Cherub Skull Sculpture

Miranda lives and works in the west country and is a founder member of the RAra Collective. More examples of her work can be found at www.saatchiart.com/raracollective. Her paintings, drawings and sculptures are wonderfully deranged. The vibrant colours and seductive shapes will draw the viewer into her world. The many strange characters that people her visions, reflect those parts of ourselves that most of us would prefer to remain hidden; their actions seem to echo our half remembered dreams. Miranda casts a wry eye on the human condition and although her work is often disturbing, she seasons it with a large dose of humour and leaves her audience with a smile on its face.
