"Glossy Surface" - Art Exhibition Concept "I got my art degree by flipping burgers at McDonald's and listening to pop music." This project looks at fast food as a metaphor for the modern world – fast, shiny, simplified and recognizable to everyone. The patty, the wrapper, the logo, the sauce – nothing is random. Everything is calculated and ordered. There is no room for reflection or introspection. Only precise shapes, instant gratification, the brand and the hungry look. Main idea: We live in an age of accelerated symbolism. The battle of people for brands, the battle of brands for people Logos replace icons. Pop replaces prayer. Even art has become a glossy cover, a corporate identity in which we seek security. We wear color on the surface, and it calms us. Final Thought: “There is no meaning in life. And in that lies a certain freedom. Art does not negate. It floats — like ice in soda.” “Glossy Surface” is not critique, irony, or celebration. It’s just floating on your back in a cocktail of modern culture. No judgment. No morality. Only brands, warmth, food, and light.
