About The Artwork
The sculpture is my version of the peregrine falcon. It is in a landed position with its head hood on. The piece took two weeks full time to complete. I was inspired to create it due to the falcon's majestic speed.

I am a second generation welding art artist. My father, Thomas Muchenga, was a metal sculpture artist who took part in exhibitions in the lateb 80s and early 90s. He taught me how to weld and I took a liking to making art out of stainless and mild steel. I try to express myself and my feelings through the art pieces that I make.
