The Hare Sculpture - Limited Edition of 22

You have to be up early in the morning to spot a hare, which I rarely am while on holiday in the country side. However I have been lucky enough to see them on rare occasion in March boxing one another and running away sharply if intimidated. The Hares movement is so quick that it is difficult to observe. Thank goodness for freezing frames on ones video. The Hare is a lean machine of combat and even dogs are frequently out run, part of the evasive tactics are to swerve or pivot at the second a dogs jaws approach. I worked on this pose of The Hare on one leg while pivoting at speed, The Hare can be viewed from all angles demonstrating energy and movement.
