About The Artwork
At first glance we see a well-built figure of a man, it is a work in progress. He is without arms, legs and most importantly a head. The sculptor has carefully placed him on a box covered with coins. Does it mean anything? Or is it just by chance? The figure is bronzed mixed with a tinge of red exposing the detail. The colors used are beautiful. The pedestal on which he is place is of a blue green hue, depicting deterioration. A phenomenon not understood by many who believe we live forever.
