About The Artwork
The skin started as an experimentation on how to represent the inner self, as I was working on the idea of isolation, of shutting oneself away, I decided to confront a very simple geometric shape of a house with a topographic representation of an imagined landscape. I usually dream about houses, some are plenty while others are empty, some have just one room, but others have hundreds. Sometimes I can rest peacefully on the loft, protected by the bright force of the reason, whilst others I must deal with the deep voices of the unconscious on the darkest cellars.

I was born in Spain but I live and work in London, seduced by the versatile sensuality of clay and the reflections of glass, in September I will start an MA in Ceramics and Glass at Royal College of Art (RCA).
