2017. papier -mâché, fabric, аuthor's technique. 430х370х180mm "Space Odyssey" sculptures - is an attempt to reflect and "tame" all this universal beauty. The sculptor choses unexpected forms and materials. Sculptures are made of fabric - they are soft and tactile. Tactility of textile sculptures is about "tame". Sculptures are made to be touched and picked up. The cosmic object, which inspires the author, is transformed in a special way. The great space “something” becomes a miniature cozy sculpture, which can be easily placed on a shelf. But the principle of reflecting the huge in the small makes each sculpture non-scaled.
