Every moment we live, we never know when it’s the last time someone has enveloped their last breath of air. We never know when it is going to be the last time we see someone we love. Love is something special, that’s timeless. Love isn’t measured by the amount of time we’ve spent with someone. Love is measured by the moments and memories you share. With the use of over 600 layers of paper, different colours are used to define the complex topic. Red, orange, yellow and blue is used for intensity, change, for uncertainty and blue is used for harmony. Black, white, grey and brown is used to show mystery, purity, dependability and mourning. The three generations decals: the child, the mother and grandmother show the stages of life. The clock represents the time, the digits hanging are meant to show that time flies. The clock gears are creatively used to add movement onto an otherwise still piece of art work. The main message is to cherish whatever time you have left with your loved ones before time ticks away. We often overlook the fact that our lives are short, so take all the love you can.
