This work is attempting to showcase some of the history and culture of my country, Iran, that gives me a sense of identity, tranquility, and confidence. I use elements such as asymmetry, color contrast, and the simultaneous presentation of the inside and the outside to convey my own conflicts with Iran's traditional ways, especially regarding the role of women. Since I started experimenting with clay, my artwork reframes historical sculptures from a contemporary, cross-cultural perspective. I juxtapose these two things in the form of new ones to make a bridge between traditional values and modern concepts. I am currently working on discovering how computer-aided technologies incorporated into creative art practices.
