About The Artwork

This funny wall art sculpture with a guardian gargoyle is inspired by a robot toreros on the balcony which waits for a bull for and on the top building sits a guardian/protector gargoyle. This dada art work sculpture is created from a variety of come back vintage objects including half of an old wooden box with dark background, a half of silver plated plate, used tin boxes It is a second life for incorporating forgotten various objects. My 3d wall art creation merges human and animal characteristics to give this wall sculpture a unique personality. This new old art creation is intentionally made with imperfections and an antique finish.

Educated as a mechanical engineer, I have been making stained glass and mixed media sculptures for over thirty years. The combination of my engineering and artistic experience has resulted in my original yet durable designs of robot sculptures . The sculptures care with which I create my characters gives them, despite their physical immobility, an engaging personality.I have exibited my sculptures all over Quebec,Canada and have won several awards.
