Two Snakes Dancing relief Sculpture

This 56 kilo heavy slab of limestone was originaly used to calibrate pharmaceutical instruments. This piece of Belgian black marble and was handed over to me as a present.... Anyone growing up in places where snakes are common, know of their ability to lie quietly and blend in with their surroundings. It has always fascinted me that they lay eggs. My idea was to create a bed of straw on which two snakes are barely perceptible. The egg they both cherish, is aside from being easy to spot, very vulnerable. The relief can be adjusted to a wall by drilling two heavy bolts, corresponding with two holes in the backside of the stone.
