The work is mostly made by hybridising recycled materials such as wood, stone, logs, brick and recycled tropical woods of different tones such as mahogany, redwood, purpleheart, among others. In a way, with this hybridisation of materials, he shows these dualities present in our days in front of the near future in terms of the being that destroys his planet.

By joining these materials it is a way of searching for alternatives to the constant dichotomy of our days. A union of different types of materials with different histories is sought, for example pallets are used to transport things around the world in general, the stones some come from quarries, others from forests. Palo Rojo wood (Pterocarpus soyauxii) comes from central and west Africa, from Nigeria to Congo and southern Angola, Purple Heart wood grows in many areas, such as Costa Rica, Trinidad and southern Angola.
Costa Rica, Trinidad and in southeastern Brazil, where most species grow in the Amazon basin.

The idea of refuge is also explored, but in contrast to the dualities explained above. In a way, the aim is to show the dualities that occur with an attempt at purification, to connect with the spectator and to raise awareness of what we are taking refuge from. Beyond a physical refuge, it also seeks to produce an awareness in the spectators.

Somehow, through the working process, the union of the different materials, the application of rivets, the sanding process.... The pieces end up recreating a uniformity, where somehow all these pieces coming from different places with different histories end up being reincarnated in one piece. With all the imperfections purified.

Probably, in some occasions, for the elaboration of the materials that we recycle, the natural and ruined by the human being has been more destroyed. By working the pieces and giving them that second chance, they end up being polished of imperfections. In other cases, pieces found in nature have been collected directly.

Recycled materials are perfect for making pieces, to make a good work it is not necessary to use a material that creates a greater environmental impact.
